Donate to support wounded people, IDPs and veterans in Ukraine with phantom limb pain

Donations for AR/VR phantom limb pain therapy, prosthetics and rehabilitation for wounded soldiers, civilians, internally displaced people (IDPs) and veterans of the war in Ukraine

Thousands of people in Ukraine — wounded soldiers, civilians, internally displaced people (IDPs) and veterans — live with amputations and phantom limb pain after war-related injuries. By donating to this project you support treatment based on mirror therapy, AR/VR technologies and modern rehabilitation to reduce pain, restore movement and improve sleep.

Your donation helps us develop accessible treatment protocols, train clinicians and rehabilitation specialists, create educational materials in Ukrainian, Russian and English, and cover part of the costs of prosthetics and comprehensive rehabilitation.

Who this project helps

Wounded soldiers with amputations

Ukrainian defenders face not only limb loss but also severe phantom limb pain that makes it hard to sleep, move and recover. Part of the funds goes to phantom pain treatment, prosthetics, AR/VR therapy and comprehensive rehabilitation.

Civilians and internally displaced people

Civilians who have experienced shelling, blast injuries, displacement and trauma may also have amputations, phantom limb pain and PTSD. Your support makes it possible to extend rehabilitation and psychosomatic care programmes for these people.

Education for clinicians and patients

We create clear mirror therapy and AR/VR protocols, record lectures, video tutorials and webinars. This helps clinicians and rehabilitation specialists around the world implement modern approaches to treating phantom limb pain and supporting people after amputation.

Main areas of support

AR/VR therapy for phantom limb pain

Developing and implementing AR/VR‑based treatment protocols for phantom limb pain grounded in scientific research (including the work of Max Ortiz Catalan): hardware, software and specialist training.

Prosthetics and rehabilitation

Partial coverage of the costs of prosthetics, complex joint replacement and osseointegration, as well as intensive rehabilitation: gait training, balance work and pain management after amputation.

Psychological support and PTSD

Working with PTSD, anxiety, depression and traumatic memories related to injury, amputation and combat experience. Psychosomatic approaches, group and individual programmes.

Tytanovi and bionic prostheses

Tytanovi charity

Part of donations and information support goes to initiatives focused on bionic prostheses, complex prosthetics and rehabilitation of Ukrainian defenders. One of the directions is supporting projects similar to Tytanovi.
